The New Education Policy (2019) initiated and developed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Govt. of India, has been approved by the Central cabinet on 29th July 2020. The National Education Policy (NEP) has brought several reforms in Indian education which includes broad based multidisciplinary Undergraduate Education with 21st Century skills while developing specialized knowledge with disciplinary rigor. It is to bring equity, efficiency and academic excellence in National Higher Education System.
