Connecting the aspirants to the corporates is the need of the day said Dr Francisca Tej, the founder of Wisdom Ed institution, Mangalore in her introductory note on occasion of the job fair organised by her own organisation in collaboration with Milagres College, Kallianpur, Udupi. She was talking at the inaugural ceremony of the job fair at the Milagres College Kallianpur Udupi as the collaborating head for Wisdom Ed institution, Mangalore.
Mr Karthik Nayak, the placement officer, Milagres College Kallianpur welcomed the gathering.
Very Rev.Fr Valerian Mendonca, Correspondent of Milagres Institutions said transforming an average student into an enlightened individual and initiating such students into the job market is the noble mission the college does. He thanked the organisers and Dr Fransisca Tej and Dr Guru Tej for organising the job fair at Milagres.
Mr Walter Nandalike, the founder of Daiji world media, Mangalore said to follow your own passion to be successful. He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the job fair as the chief guest. Understanding one's own abilities and working towards the passion would definitely bring success he added.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Vincent Alva the Principal quoted Dr Abdul Kalam and said the students at their young age should dream when they are awake. Thanking 47 companies that attended the job fair as recruiters Dr Alva said they are the people who made the job fair possible. Swimming in an unknown ocean would definitely keep the effort alive he exhorted.
On this occasion Dr Francisca Tej was felicitated for her contribution to the college as it's alumna and also for shouldering the organisation of job fair 2024.
Dr Guru Tej, Prof. Sophia Dias, the vice principal, Mr Shekar Gujjarbettu, president of the alumni association, and Mr Ganesh Mestha, president of PTA were present.
Ms Aparna from the department of Chemistry compered the program and Dr Jayaram Shettigar, the IQAC coordinator of the college proposed vote of thanks.
