13 August 2016: Students – Parents Interaction with Mentors and PTA meeting

Students – Parents Interaction with Mentors and PTA Meeting of Milagres College, Kallianpur was held in Milagres College. About 25 students were given in – charge of a student – parent – mentor interaction and these interactions were held in different rooms from 02:00 pm to 03:00 pm.  At 03:00 pm, the General Body meeting was held in the Silver Jubilee Hall under the presidency of Rev. Fr. Stany B. Lobo, Correspondent. Campus Director, Rev. Dr. Prakash Anil Castelino addressed the parents. Retired principal Dr. Nery Cornelio and office staff Mr. Ramachandra were felicitated. Principal Dr. Gerald Pinto welcomed the gathering. Secretary Prof. Subrahmanya Joshi presented the annual report and accounts. Dr. Jayaram Shettigar compered. Later the following office bearers were unanimously elected.

The General body meeting of Parents Teachers Association was held on 26 August 2017 at 02:00 pm in the Silver Jubilee Hall under the presidentship of V. Rev. Fr. Stany Lobo, Correspondent of Milagres Institutions. The students performed meaningful entertainment programme on the occasion.  Ms. Sushmitha, III B.Sc. spoke about the various facilities available in the college and also the quality of education imported to the students. She also called up on the students to avail these facilities and develop their all round personality. After the entertainment programme the proceedings of the general body meeting were held. The Secretary Prof. Subrahmanya Joshi read out the report of the last general body meeting and also gave report of the various programmes held during 2016 – 17. The treasurer, Dr. Herald Ivan Monis, presented the accounts for the year 2016 – 17. During the occasion the retired teachers Prof. Archana K. Dabade, Ex. Principal – Dr. Gerald Pinto and Administrative Staff Mr. Joachim D’Souza were honored for their dedicated service. Dr. Vincent Alva Principal and also the honorary president of PTA spoke about the responsibilities of teachers and students to the parents. The president of the general body meeting V Rev Fr Stany B Lobo during his presidential address gave a call to all the parents and teacher to sincerely work for the betterment of every student of the college. The following office bearers were elected for the academic year 2017 – 18:

01 September 2018: General Body Meeting


 

 

 

 

The General Body Meeting of PTA was held on 1st September 2018 at 2 p.m. in the Silver Jubilee Hall under the Presidentship of V. Rev. Fr. Dr. Lawrence C. D’Souza, Correspondent, Milagres Institutions.  From 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. there was video presentation of all the activities held in the college during the year.

Ms. Ashitha of II B.A. spoke on the various facilities available to the students in the college and how to make use of them.  Principal Dr. Vincent Alva introduced the Correspondent and welcomed him.  He also gave the information on the attendance requirements for the students, rules towards mobile phones, two wheelers and also about drugs. PTA Secretary Prof. Subrahmanya Joshi read out the report of the last General Body Meeting. Treasurer Dr. Herald Ivan Monis presented the accounts for the year 2017-18.  During the programme the retired HOD of English Prof. Cyril Mathias was honoured for his dedicated service. President of the function, Corresepondent, V.Rev.Fr. Dr. Lawrence C. D’Souza expressed his happiness towards the participation of parents on large scale and also spoke on the responsibilities of teachers and parents.
